Established in 1987 - we have over three decades experience in providing families with beautiful furry friends.

Our approach

Xitalia German Shepherds is a small kennel based in the picturesque Canterbury region of New Zealand’s South Island. We breed pedigree German Shepherds that have won at the highest levels, in various disciplines.

Our goal is to produce a functional, healthy animal that will provide a lifetime of joy to their owner. Xitalia bred German Shepherd Dogs are bred with the versatility to succeed in obedience, agility, all breeds and specialist events - but above all else, they are cherished companions and loyal best friends to their families.

Life long support for you and your family

We are here to help. All of our owners are provided with fully customized puppy starter packs, based on the lifestyle you plan to lead with your German Shepherd. We also provide life long support, be it around nutrition, exercise, an interest in a dog oriented sport or breeding. We are here for you.

 

In-person and remote options

Can’t make it to our home to meet the puppies or have a training consultation? No problem. We offer remote options to ensure you are getting the most out of your experience.
