The Next Generation.
Introducing our first litter in 4 years.
Hanshi Force of Nature “Filo” x NZ CH Siobahn Greyt Omen (imp Aus) “Nui”
We are proud to announce this carefully planned litter from Filo, a female who represents generations of thoughtful breeding, proven quality, and sound temperament. Filo comes from a strong home-bred family line developed over decades, with selective German and Swedish influences introduced to strengthen key characteristics while preserving the type, balance, and trainability we value.
Her pedigree is rich in achievement and consistency. Within her maternal family are multiple Best in Show winners, specialist champions, Gold Medal recipients, and dogs that have made a lasting impact on our breeding program. Notable names include dual Show Champion Ch Hanshi Xinara BSC1 A,Z, a cornerstone female of our kennel whose influence continues to be seen through succeeding generations and Ch Hanshi Export Gold “Exe” a specialist champion female with multiple Gold Medal awards. Across Filo’s four-generation NZKC pedigree are five notable Best in Show winners, with the family collectively holding more than 200 Challenge Certificates - a reflection of sustained excellence over time.
Filo combines strength with femininity, has a stable and affectionate temperament and moves with the free-flowing reach and drive expected of the breed. She is everything we hoped to preserve from our established lines while carrying the potential to continue building on them.
For this litter, we selected NZ Ch Siobahn Greyt Omen as our chosen sire. Nui is a male we greatly admire for his impeccable temperament, beautiful type and quality. He is a multi gold medal, a national silver medalist and Best in Show winner and all under 3 years of age - best of all, he has one of the best natures we have encountered in the breed. He descends from some of the best modern Australian bloodlines, blended with exceptional European influence through his sire, the highly accomplished Wulkano-Uno von Schnitzerteam (Imp Hungary). Uno holds BH, IPO2 and AD working titles, and is KKL Lifetime surveyed - demonstrating both soundness and working ability. Uno was an Australian National Silver Medalist and multiple Excellent Merit graded male.
Nui also carries a distinguished maternal family. He is a grandson of the outstanding Aust Ch Vladimir Greyt Sensation, a female whose breeding legacy in Australia has been extraordinary. Her progeny groups were awarded GSDL Winner Dams Progeny in 2018, 2019 and 2020, followed by second place in 2021 - an exceptional run of consistency and quality at the highest level. It is believed she is the only Long Stock Coat dam to have achieved this distinction while competing against Stock Coat dams in Australia, making her contribution especially notable.
This mating also carries a linebreeding on 2x VA1 Vegas du Haut Mansard SchH3 (5:5). Vegas is regarded as one of the most influential German Shepherd sires of the modern era, renowned internationally for producing outstanding type, strong pigment, excellent movement, and progeny with consistent show success across the world. His impact on contemporary pedigrees remains significant, and his presence adds further depth and proven strength to this combination.
Our goal with this pairing is to produce correct medium-sized, well-balanced German Shepherds with clean toplines, correct angulation, expressive heads and sound athletic movement. Temperament remains paramount - confident, stable puppies suitable for family life while retaining the intelligence and versatility the breed is celebrated for.
We are incredibly excited about the potential of this litter and look forward to seeing the next generation continue the legacy of these remarkable bloodlines.
All of our puppies are NZKC registered, vaccinated, microchipped, vet health checked at 2, 6 and 8 weeks and wormed.
All of our puppies come with their pedigree and veterinary information, a Royal Canin nutritional puppy pack, in depth information and tips on raising one of our puppies and a lifetime of support from us.
Frequently Asked Questions

All breeding dogs undergo hip and elbow scoring through the Australian German Shepherd Dog Council scheme. These results are tracked carefully over generations, not just within individual dogs, helping provide a clearer picture of long-term soundness within a breeding program.
We are proud to have over 25 recorded “A” stamp hip scores and 25 recorded “Z” stamp elbow scores behind our lines through this scheme.
Alongside structural health testing, we also complete comprehensive DNA and health screening through Orivet, which provides testing across more than 200 genetic markers.

Responsible breeders carefully evaluate health, temperament, structure, movement, working ability, and overall breed soundness over multiple generations when planning a pairing.
The goal is not perfection, but to thoughtfully minimise faults while strengthening desirable traits within the breed. This includes considering how two dogs complement one another in areas such as temperament, type, structure, movement, and long-term health.
Health testing, documented pedigrees and generational knowledge allow responsible breeders to make informed decisions with the long-term future of the breed in mind, aiming to produce dogs that are physically sound, mentally stable and capable of thriving throughout their lives within the families they join.

We believe bringing home a puppy should be a time of excitement, anticipation and connection and we want our families to feel involved throughout the entire journey.
We provide weekly “Pupdate” newsletters so families can follow along as the puppies grow and develop, a live webcam feed fondly known as ‘The Milkbar’, along with opportunities to visit and spend time with their future puppy before they head home.
-
When the big day arrives, puppies head home with a carefully curated puppy pack designed to help make the transition into their new home as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Before leaving for their new homes, all puppies will have completed a full veterinary health check, along with their first vaccinations and age-appropriate worming schedule.
Each puppy pack includes breed history information, puppy guides and tips to assist with settling into a new environment, pedigree and health documentation, premium quality food, and familiar comfort items carrying the scent of their littermates and home environment to help ease the adjustment period.
We also provide ongoing breeder support well beyond pickup day. Whether you need advice around feeding, training, settling in behaviours, or simply reassurance during those first few weeks, we’re always happy to help - including offering video calls where needed to assist families as they navigate life with their new puppy.
